The discipline "Translation of Economic Texts" explores the peculiarities of translating texts related to economic and related topics (banking, financial services, accounting and control, commerce, investments and financing, marketing, tax law, finance and credit, financial management, international business, etc.). It involves a comprehensive study of the German language (in all its aspects) alongside the development of communicative skills through practical communication. The foundation of specialized texts in this field is the terminology of the respective knowledge domain. The teaching of this course primarily focuses on practical aspects, taking into account the specificities of translation from and into German.

Practical classes, independent work.

Current assessment: 1. Oral and written translation, translation analysis. 2. Completion of lexical-grammatical exercises. 3. Expression of understanding based on reading or listening. 4. Compilation of terminological glossaries. 5. Module-based assessment. Final assessment is a credit. Evaluation criteria for each form of assessment are provided in the course program.
