PLO 2. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the socio-political process; be able to collect and interpret information about the phenomena and phenomena of politics, socio-political processes and events; possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural events and phenomena.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is the formation of knowledge about the peculiarities of modern Ukrainian society, politics and government in a comparative context, about the specifics of sociological and political science knowledge about the problems and trends of the development of society, politics and government.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Education is carried out in the form of lectures, seminar classes and independent work of students, which involves preparation for oral answers, participation in discussions, presentation of projects, analytical investigations, modular control works.
Assessment methods and criteria
The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (oral presentations) and for independent work (referential-analytical review of the source, writing analytical intelligence, presentations). All types of work per semester are evaluated at max. 80 points / min. 48 points. In case of absence from the seminar, the student must complete the assignment for the seminar in writing (essay, abstract-analytical review of sources, analytical intelligence). Final control papers in the form of a test - min. 12 / max. 20 points. The final number of points for the discipline (max. 100 / min. 60 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test papers.
