To be able to interpret the basic laws of natural sciences; to have the skills of independent search for information and its generalization.
Course content
TThe goal of the discipline is the formation of theoretical knowledge and skills in future specialists aimed at mastering the fundamental concepts of theoretical ecology, understanding the principles of the functioning of ecological systems, the interaction of living organisms and humans in the sociosphere, knowledge of the peculiarities of the interrelationships of the biosphere and the technosphere, the ability to identify global and regional environmental problems and problems of resource-ecological-economic direction.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Education takes place in the form of lectures and self-study work of students, which involves preparation for performance of control works (max. 50 / min. 25 points).
Assessment methods and criteria
The final assessment in the credit form is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assesed learning outcomes. To receive a positive final grade (min. 60 points / max. 100 points), it is mandatory to write test papers. It is not allowed to retake the semester control in order to improve a positive grade.
