PRN10. Know the norms of the Bulgarian literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities. PRN11. Know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state, Bulgarian and English languages. PRN12. To analyze the units of the Bulgarian and English languages, to determine their interaction and to characterize the linguistic phenomena and processes that cause them. PRN14. To use the Bulgarian and English languages ​​orally and in writing, in various genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life. PRN16. To know and understand the basic concepts, theories and concepts of Bulgarian linguistics and literary studies, to be able to apply them in professional activities.

Mastering the subjects "Introduction to linguistics", "Introduction to Slavic philology", "Ukrainian language", "Old Slavic language", "Phonetics and phonology of the modern Bulgarian language", "Morphology of the modern Bulgarian language: names", "Communicative aspect of the modern Bulgarian language".

The course aims to introduce students to the grammatical categories of verbs in the modern Bulgarian language. Special attention is focused on the study of the extensive system of tense forms of the Bulgarian verb. The presentation of the theoretical material is accompanied by an in-depth grammatical analysis of the linguistic material. The formation of systematic knowledge about grammatical categories and verb forms in the Bulgarian literary language is aimed at improving speaking skills and professional skills when translating from Bulgarian to Ukrainian and from Ukrainian to Bulgarian.

Lectures and practical classes, guidance of independent work and monitoring of its implementation, individual consultations, assessment.

After the lectures, practical classes are held on relevant topics, at which the planned types of work and forms of control are evaluated: oral report (max. 5), abstract/essay (max. 10), additions, participation in the discussion (max. 3), presentation ( max. 6), modular control work (max. 15). During the semester, written works are checked, individual consultations are held, and the level of assimilation of the material assigned for independent study is assessed. The final grade is assigned based on the results of the student's work during the semester and the oral answer on the exam.
