Prerequisites and co-requisites
Mastering the course material "Introduction to literary studies", "Introduction to Slavic philology", "Bulgarian country studies and folklore", "History of Bulgarian literature: from the beginning to the end of the 16th century", "History of Bulgarian literature of the 17th century".
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to give students systematic knowledge about the development of Bulgarian literature of the 18th century, to form an idea of the course of the historical-literary process based on the texts created in this period. The spread of enlightenment ideas in the works of Joseph Bearded and his followers as a preparation for national revival.

Assessment methods and criteria
Throughout the semester, after lectures on relevant topics, seminar classes are held, at which evaluations are carried out in accordance with the planned types of work. The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student in the process of performing the specified types and forms of education and obtained on the test.
