PRN1. Communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the official, Bulgarian and English languages ​​orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. To know and understand the basic concepts, theories and concepts of Bulgarian linguistics and literary studies, to be able to apply them in professional activities.

Distance form

express one's own opinions and judgments based on knowledge from the courses "Introduction to Linguistics" and "Introduction to Slavic Philology"; make phonetic, morpheme, morphological and syntactic analyzes of units of the Ukrainian language; determine the semantics of a polysemous word in context; Have elementary skills work with teaching and methodical manuals; searching for information in scientific sources recommended for processing; analysis and comparison of linguistic phenomena; application of acquired knowledge in practice (for writing essays, modular tests, etc.).

Familiarization of students with the origin of the Old Slavic language, its phonetic-phonological, lexical, morphological, word-forming and syntactic systems in a comparative-historical aspect against the background of linguistic phenomena and processes of the Indo-European and Proto-Slavic periods with a projection on the relevant linguistic facts of modern Slavic languages , development of skills and abilities to apply acquired knowledge in the process of reading, commenting, translating and complex linguistic analysis of Old Slavic texts.

The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student of higher education during the semester and the points received on the exam, the maximum distribution is carried out according to the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam).
