Learning outcomes
PLO1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and foreign languages orally and in writing, to use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO10. To know the norms of literary language and be able to apply them in practice. PLO11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques for creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in Ukrainian and Modern Greek and English languages PLO13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and foreign fiction and oral folklore, determine their specificity and place in the Modern Greek literary process.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The course "Ukrainian Literature of the 21st Century" provides basic knowledge of the history of Ukrainian literature learned within the school curriculum.
Course content
The course consolidates and deepens basic knowledge of the history of Ukrainian literature, in particular, the patterns of development of the historical-literary process in relationships with world literature and culture. Continues the systematic study of: bright modern literary phenomena in a variety of styles and genres, innovative shifts in the cultural and stylistic epoch of the border of the XX-XXI centuries, marked by search and experimentation; peculiarities of the poetics of modern lyrics, drama, short stories, novels, the specifics of their genre-species and generic-species diffusions, plot creation, character creation, visual and expressive means; traces the dynamics of content and style factors in the works of Yuriy Andruhovych, Oksana Zabuzhko, Halyna Pagutyak, Serhiy Zhadan, Yuriy Vinnychuk, and others.
