Learning outcomes
PLO1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and foreign languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO10. To know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practice. PLO11. To know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and foreign languages. PLO14. To use the New Greek and English languages in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, neutral), to solve communicative problems in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life. PLO17. To collect, analyze, systematize and interpret facts of language and speech and use them to solve complex problems in specialized areas of professional activity and/or study.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful completion of the previous parts of the two comprehensive disciplines "Practice of Translation from the First Language: for International Communication" and "Practice of Translation from the First Language: for Professional Communication"; 2) knowledge of general information about the translation process, translator's tasks, peculiarities of creating secondary texts, basics of Greek grammar, lexical minimum within the B1 level; 3) proficiency in Greek at the B1-B2 level of competence.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to train specialists in translation from the first foreign language who would have practical skills in translating texts from various fields of knowledge and dimensions of communication, to develop students' translation competence, namely the skills and abilities to produce equivalent oral (from the letter) and written translation of texts of various genre and thematic specifics from the first language into Ukrainian and from Ukrainian into the first language, which would ensure adequate communication. The course consists of two content areas. The first one, "Translation of Business Documents," focuses on the practical consideration of the peculiarities of translation in the field of Ukrainian-Greek business. The second, "Translation of Personal Documentation of Presentation and Certification Character", covers the translation of such texts as certificates, certificates, autobiographies, certificates, and powers of attorney.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The training takes place in the form of oral answers at practical classes, creative tasks and writing of control papers.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester grade is formed by the points earned by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire course. The total grade for the semester consists of the points received for class work (which synthesizes and independent work on theoretical material to prepare for class work: oral answers, tests) and for independent work (home translations, essays). All types of work for the semester have a total of 60 points in the maximum dimension and 36 points in the minimum dimension. In case of absence from a practical lesson, the student must make up the lesson. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of an exam: the maximum number of points in the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points (positive grade) that are added to the semester points is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the exam)
