PLO 1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and Turkish and English languages orally and in writing, and use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 8. To know and understand the language system, the general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of Turkish and English languages and literatures and be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities. PLO 10. To know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practice. PLO 12. Analyze linguistic units, determine their interaction and characterize linguistic phenomena and processes that determine them PLO 14. To use Turkish and English, in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (formal, informal, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Full-time form

1. Successful completion of courses: Turkish language, Introduction to specialty philology. 2. To know the basics of the grammatical structure of the Turkish language, lexical foundations, theoretical foundations of general linguistics, the first Turkic language. 3. Possess the skills of conducting discussions when discussing topics from the course "Turkish Language".

The discipline "Turkish Language" belongs to the list of compulsory disciplines and is taught in the first and second semesters of the bachelor's degree, in accordance with the curriculum of the educational and scientific program "Turkish Language and Literature and Translation, English". The discipline develops the main types of speech activities in Turkish: reading, speaking, writing and listening. Students' communicative language competencies are formed: perception and understanding of elementary listening discourse, ability to communicate on topics defined by the program, text comprehension and ability to reproduce what they have read. Students develop writing and reading skills that meet the requirements of a basic level of foreign language proficiency. Students develop the ability to use the theoretical aspect of grammatical material in practical application. The discipline is taught in the form of practical classes. The course ends with an exam in the first semester and a final test in the second semester.

Practical classes; independent work.

Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, an assessment of theoretical training, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and an assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: II semester: 1. Work in practical classes (preparation of tasks, oral response, work with dictionaries, text corpora, the Internet, written work, listening): 24 - 40 points. 2. Home reading: 4 - 10 points. 3. Module test №1: 10 - 15 points. 4. Module test № 2: 10 - 15 points. 5. Test: 12 - 20 points.
