Learning outcomes
PLO 8. To know and understand the language system, the general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of Turkish and English languages and literatures and be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities. PLO 13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and foreign fiction and oral folklore, determine their specificity and place in the literary process (according to the chosen specialization). PLO 15. Carry out linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres. PLO 16. To know and understand the basic concepts, theories and concepts of the chosen philological specialization, to be able to apply them in the professional field. Activities.

Course content
"Ashug Literature" introduces students to the typology and poetics of Ashug art, the criteria of oral folk poetry, religious and mystical folk poetry, and Ashug poetry; studies Ashug social environments and forms of education; analyzes the emergence of Ashug schools and the practice of creating notebooks, junks; forms a worldview on the classification of Ashug by social status: rural poets, poets from the city, janissary poets, and wanderers. Course structure: Classes are held in the form of lectures, practical and independent classes. The course ends with a test.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.3), which is 60% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2-2.2); (communication 3); (autonomy and responsibility 4), which is 80% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Abstract: 2 - 5 points. 2. Creative tasks: 2 - 5 points. 3. Research work, oral presentations: 2 - 5 points. 4. Intermediate control - written work: 5 - 20 points. 5. Intermediate control - written work: 5 - 20 points; 6. Answer in practical classes: evaluated on a scale from five to one point depending on the completeness of disclosure, originality of the proposal to solve the problem under consideration.
