Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 6. To use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity. PLO 8. To know and understand the language system, the general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of Turkish and English languages and literatures and be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities. PLO 13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and foreign fiction and oral folklore, determine their specificity and place in the literary process (in accordance with the chosen specialization). PLO 15. Carry out linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the specifics of the literature of the previous stage and its representatives (successful completion of the course "Folklore and Ancient Turkish Literature" in the third semester). 2. Know the basic historical and literary terminology. 3. To be able to analyze the creative work of a particular representative of the literature of the Ottoman period. 4. Possess basic reading and comprehension skills in Turkish. 5. Possess teamwork skills. 6. Realize the need for cognitive activity and continuous professional development.
Course content
The discipline "Literature of the Divan" is the second component (Part 2) of the complex multi-semester discipline "History of Turkish Literature" and is taught in the fourth semester of the bachelor's degree in accordance with the curriculum of the educational and scientific program "Turkish Language and Literature and Translation, English". This discipline is an integral part of the formation of professional and practical competencies of future philologists. This course is a logical continuation of the parts of the comprehensive discipline "History of the Turkish Language" and involves an in-depth study of writers and works of Turkish literature, as well as the genre of Turkish poetry. The discipline is taught in the form of lectures and seminars during one semester, and ends with an exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 3), which is 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 4-5); (communication 6), which is 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral response at the seminar: 7 - 14 points. 2. Additions, participation in the discussion: 2.5 - 3 points. 3. Presentation of the report: 2.5 - 3 points. 4. Modular control work: 6 - 10 points. 5. Exam: 23 - 40 points.
