Learning outcomes
PLO1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and foreign languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO6. Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity. PLO12. Analyze language units, determine their interaction and characterize linguistic phenomena and processes that determine them. PLO14. Use the Crimean Tatar language in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: - successful mastery of professional disciplines during the first year of study; - knowledge of phonetic laws, grammatical structures and syntax rules of the Crimean Tatar language; Be able to: - use basic and professionally oriented knowledge of the basics of philology, history, sociology and cultural studies; - apply the acquired knowledge in practice. Possess basic skills: - cognitive and professional activity; - culture of thinking, its general laws.
Course content
The academic discipline "Fundamentals of Translation Practice" is the second component of the complex discipline "Translation Practice" of the educational and professional program for the training of specialists in the educational and qualification level "Bachelor", field of knowledge 03 "Humanities", specialization 035 "Philology", cluster "Crimean Tatar Language and Literature". This module belongs to the basic part of the professional cycle of disciplines. The course on which the module "Fundamentals of Translation Theory" is directly based is the disciplines of the basic general part. The program of the course consists of 2 content modules. Classes are held in the form of lectures and practical classes. The course ends with a midterm in the third semester and an exam in the fourth semester.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, an assessment of theoretical training, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and an assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Work on and practical classes: 3 - 6 points. 2. Written practical classes: 2 - 4 points. 3. Modular control work: 10 - 20 points. 4. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
