Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 6. To use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity. PLO 8. To know and understand the language system, general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of the Crimean Tatar language and literature, and be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities. PLO 13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and foreign fiction and oral folklore, determine their specificity and place in the literary process.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- Successful mastery of professional disciplines during the first year of study; - basic literary terminology; - knowledge of the main historical stages of development of the Crimean Tatar people and its culture; - mastery of basic reading, writing and listening skills; - applying the acquired knowledge in practice; - mastery of basic skills of cognitive and professional activity; culture of thinking, its general laws.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to develop students' knowledge of the specifics of Crimean Tatar folklore and the development of ancient Crimean Tatar literature of the late 12th and early 13th centuries. An important component of the discipline is also the consideration and analysis of various genres of folklore: destans (poems), fairy tales, songs, humorous stories and ditties, etc. Familiarization with the ancient Turkic runic script, Kul-Tegin and Tonyukuk written monuments; study of the life and creative paths of Crimean Tatar writers of this period, etc. The discipline is the second component of the complex multi-semester discipline "History of Turkic and Crimean Tatar Literature" and is theoretical and practical in nature, contributes to the formation of basic knowledge of Crimean Tatar folklore and the history of ancient Crimean Tatar literature.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 30% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 70% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral answer: 7 - 14 points. 2. Additions, participation in the discussion: 13 - 26 points. 3. Analysis of works in writing: 8 - 16 points. 4. Performing individual work (writing theses; presentation of the report): 6 - 8 points. 5. Module test 1: 6 - 8 points. 6. Module test 2: 6 - 8 points. 7. Final module test: 14 - 20 points.
