PRN1. Know the vocabulary of the Serbian language of the main thematic groups in the field of household and public communication; basic provisions of lexicology and lexicography of Serbian and Ukrainian languages; basic rules of grammar, linguistic and translation terminology, specific features of the Serbian language in comparison with Ukrainian;
2. Be able to connect theoretical knowledge of grammar and lexicology with specific phenomena of Serbian and Ukrainian languages; compose oral and written texts and other.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline: to provide Slavic students with basic knowledge of lexical and grammatical aspects of Serbian-Ukrainian and Ukrainian-Serbian translation, to acquaint students with the concept of lexical equivalent, lexical variant, to consider ways of translating non-equivalent vocabulary, proper names and names, social vocabulary. political concepts, terminological vocabulary; to highlight the grammatical difficulties of two-way translation in the context of the grammar of Serbian and Ukrainian languages, to consider the phenomenon of grammatical transformation, the types of grammatical transformations in the specified pair of languages.
Training is conducted in the form of lectures and practical classes, taking into account the independent work of the student. Form of final control - credit.

Lectures and practical classes, management of independent work and control over its implementation, individual consultations, credit.
Assessment methods and criteria
After the lectures, practical classes are held on relevant topics, on which the assessment of the planned types of work and forms of control is carried out: oral answer (max. 6), written translation (max. 10), additions, participation in the discussion (max. 3), presentation 6), modular control work (max. 15). During the semester written works are checked, individual consultations are held, the level of assimilation of the material submitted for independent processing is estimated.The minimum positive number of points to receive "credited" - 60 points.
