Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the following courses: "Eastern (Japanese) Language: Basic Level", "Eastern (Japanese) Language: Intermediate Level"; "Eastern (Japanese) Language: Advanced Level"; "Lexicology of the First Eastern (Japanese) Language"; "Introduction to the Eastern Philology", "Culture-Oriented Linguistics", etc; 2. Proficiency in Japanese at an advanced level; proficiency in techniques and methods of traditional linguistic analysis at all levels of organization of the Japanese language system.
Course content
The academic discipline "The Japanese Speaking Etiquette" is a selective discipline which summarizes the knowledge obtained within the previous courses and serves as a theoretical basis for studying further linguistics courses. The academic discipline "The Japanese Speaking Etiquette" is taught in the seventh semester and consists of 3 credits, 44 hours, of which 30 hours of lectures, 14 hours of seminars, 60 hours of self-study, which ends with a pass-fail examination. The task is to foster the comprehensive knowledge about the forms of politeness in the Japanese language and speech communication, taking into account the rules of speech etiquette in Japan, as well as compliance with the rules of business etiquette in situations of professional communication in Japanese (according to the rules of international business etiquette).

Forms of training: lectures, seminars, self-study. Teaching methods: explaining new material, actively listening, engaging in discussions, working in groups, discussing results.
