Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the disciplines "Eastern Language (Basic Level)", "Fundamentals of Linguistics (Synchrony)", "Fundamentals of Linguistics (Diachrony)"; basic knowledge of the theoretical foundations regarding the structure of the Japanese language, its characteristic features, parts of speech and ways of their connection in a sentence, etc., which are explained during the course "Introduction to the Japanese Philology".
Course content
The discipline is one of the integral parts of the comprehensive discipline "Practical Course of Japanese Language". The course is intended to develop basic communication skills of students in Japanese and their understanding of grammatical forms of the appropriate level. During classes, students have the practical opportunity to: 1) enrich their vocabulary and master the basic communicative models; 2) gain understanding of grammatical phenomena, learn speech constructions necessary for successful communication at the appropriate level; 3) correctly build statements taking into account stylistic features of the speech situation, write a short message, a letter on a given topic, understand and analyze texts of intermediate level.

Form of training: practical sessions, self-study. Teaching methods: explaining new material, active listening, engaging in discussions, working in groups, discussing results.
