Prerequisites and co-requisites

1. Successful completion of the following courses: "Introduction to Linguistics", "Lexicology", "Grammar", "Stylistics", "Phonetics: Theoretical and Applied Aspects"; 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general linguistics.

Course content

The discipline "Japanese Language: Basic Level" is an integral part of the educational program of Bachelor's training and is taught in the 1st and 2nd semesters in the amount of 720 hours, including 150 hours of practical classes in the 1st semester and 210 hours – in the 2nd semester, 150 hours of self-study in the 1st semester and 210 hours – in the 2nd semester. The form of final control is an examination (in the 1st semester) and a pass-fail examination (in the 2nd semester).

Form of training: practical sessions, self-study. Teaching methods: explaining new material, active listening, engaging in discussions, working in groups, discussing results.
