            Course content
        
        
            The purpose of the discipline "Business Communication and Chinese Speech Etiquette" is to consider fundamental theoretical issues of business communication in international practice and analyze in detail the peculiarities of speech etiquette of business communication in an intercultural context. During the mastery of this discipline, it is proposed to study the basic concepts, phenomena and features of the protocol for the implementation of business (business) communication both orally and in writing; consideration of fundamental issues of international business and ways to solve them in a communicative way; analytical study and study of formal stylistic (written form) and linguoculture (oral form) features of etiquette of international business communication. The discipline belongs to the selective block "Chinese Studies: Linguistics and Translation".

            The course provides  the following forms of organization of training: practical classes conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: design work (business oral communication) and modular control work. Detailed planned educational events and teaching methods are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system. Semester number of points are formed by points received by the student for classroom work and for independent work; As a result: in the maximum dimension of 60 points, in the minimum dimension of 36 points. The discipline ends with an exam. The examination ticket consists of two practical tasks, 1 of which proposes to carry out a written stylistically balanced translation of Chinese-language texts related to business communication, and analyze their lexical and grammatical features (max. 30); in 2 tasks it is proposed to translate typical phrases of oral business communication with further detailed analytical study of the features of their lexical and grammatical component (max.10). Evaluation criteria are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
