The goal of the discipline is the formation of knowledge, skills and abilities related to the main theoretical and practical aspects of searching and processing information related to the Chinese language system. This discipline includes lecture and seminar tasks, which will help students to become more familiar with the following issues: 1) types of information support; 2) peculiarities of searching and processing information in Internet sources; 3) practical application of existing translation programs, applications and online platforms. The educational discipline "Information support of philological research in the field of Chinese studies" is one of the components of comprehensive training in the specialty "Philology (Oriental languages and literatures (including translation))" under the program "Chinese language and literature and translation, English language", selective block "Chinese studies: philology and translation". Language of teaching and assessment: Ukrainian.

The course provides the following forms of training organization: lecture and seminar classes conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: the answer to the seminary lesson, design work. Detailed planned educational events and teaching methods are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.

Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular theoretical training, which is 40% of the total assessment, and practical training, which is 60% of the total assessment. Semester number of points are formed by points received by the student for classroom work and for independent work; As a result: in the maximum dimension of 100 points, in the minimum dimension of 60 points. The discipline ends with a credit, which is exhibited based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment measures. Evaluation criteria are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
