Prerequisites and co-requisites
The course is interactive. It is built taking into account the courses "Introduction to Philology", "History of Chinese Literature", "Linguo-Country Studies of China", the course of (school) Ukrainian literature and provides for "different educational levels".
Course content
In different periods of development of Ukrainian literature, interest in the East, the "demand" for eastern monuments was different and it was realized in different ways: through "religious" channels, travels, later legends (most often through the mediation of Greeks, Bulgarians, Czechs) or translations, indirect and direct contacts, geopolitical factors, memories, various forms of reception of common plots and images, expanding and diversifying the artistic field of literature. Basically, they were consonant with the processes/phenomena that accompanied the recipient literature. Academic discipline "Ukrainian language and literature" is a complex discipline consisting of two parts: Part 1. Ukrainian language: basics of editing (2 credits); Part 2. Eastern reminiscences in Ukrainian literature (2 credits).

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides the following forms of organization of training: lectures and seminars conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: the answer at the seminar lesson, abstract, individual task, test paper. Detailed planned educational activities and teaching methods are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular theoretical training, which is 40% of the total assessment, and practical training, which is 60% of the total assessment. The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student for classroom work and for independent work; As a result: in the maximum dimension of 60 points, in the minimum dimension 36 points.Final assessment: an exam.
