Learning outcomes
PLO 2. To demonstrate an adequate level of national and foreign language mastery to perform written and spoken communication, namely in the situations of professional and scientific communication; to present the results of their studies in the national and foreign language. PLO 3. To implement the modern methods and techniques, namely informational, in order to perform a successful and effective professional activity and guarantee the quality of research in a specific philological field. PLO 6. To use knowledge on expressive, emotive, logical language means and speech techniques in order to achieve an intended pragmatic result and organize a successful communication. PLO 10. To collect and systematize facts of language and literature and folklore to interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization). Prerequisites and co-requisites
The discipline " Communicative Strategies of the German Language " is the final regulatory discipline in the practice of German as a second language for the specialty "035.04 Philology (Germanic languages and literatures (including translation)"), which is taught in the I-II semesters of the master's degree, the discipline is a logical continuation of practical and theoretical courses on the German language and translation strategies, which are taught in the I-IV courses of the bachelor's degree.
Course content
The purpose of studying this discipline is manifested primarily in the formation of students' ability to perform speech activities under the condition of their own choice and successful application of the most effective communicative strategies in specific conditions; deepening and systematization of the knowledge acquired by students during four courses and the ability to build their foreign language linguistic activity taking into account various factors of linguistic and non-linguistic origin that can have an impact on the achievement of a certain communicative and pragmatic goal. The course is aimed at forming the skills of performing various types of communicative speech activities: perception (receptive strategies), production (productive strategies), interaction (interactive strategies), mediation (intermediary strategies), translation (artistic texts). The ability to choose optimal communication strategies and tactics determines not only successful mediation, but also allows you to clearly formulate your thoughts in accordance with pragmatic goals.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Educational activities during the semester include: • exercises that are performed in the process of independent work, creative works; • interim control – written tests on four aspects of language competence; • answer in practical classes.
Assessment methods and criteria
The first semester ends with an interim semester control (max. 100 points), which takes into account the results of the students' performance in class and on the test. The final control (exam) is held in the second semester and takes into account the results of the first semester (30%). The maximum number of points for the semester evaluation is 60 points, the minimum is 36 points. Forms of work: The oral answer, LO. 1.1.-1.5., 2.1-2.5. (0.5/2 points) Presentations, essays, reports, creative tasks, translations, LO. 1.1.-1.5.,.2.1.-2.5. (5/10 points) Summaries, LO. 2.1.-2.5 (0.5/2 points) Tests, LO.2.1.- 2.5. (5/10 points), final test (12/20 points). Exam: 1) Oral theoretical question (9/15 points); 2. Translation of the text (written) (6/10 points) 3. Pragmacommunicative analysis of the text orally (9/15 points). The minimum grade for the exam is 24 points, the maximum is 40 points.
