Learning outcomes
Deeply understand the basic facts, concepts, principles and theories related to the subject area described in the course of the master's program, use them to solve complex tasks and problems, as well as conduct research in the relevant field of chemistry.
Apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to solve new qualitative and multiple problems of chemistry.
Know the methodology and organization of scientific research.
Plan, organize and carry out experimental research in chemistry using modern equipment, competently process their results and draw reasonable conclusions.
Compile technical tasks for the project, allocate time, organize your work and the work of the team, prepare a report.
Interpret experimentally obtained data and correlate them with relevant theories in chemistry.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know analytical chemistry at the bachelor's level in Chemistry.
2. To know the basics of spectroscopic and chromatographic methods of analysis.
3. Understand the principles of statistical data processing methods.
Course content
The course is designed for students who work with chromatographic methods, as well as with the methods of atomic spectrometry and who need to understand the processes of selection, development, validation, verification and transfer of analytical methods. The course considers the main elements of quality assurance and quality control of chemical analysis, studies approaches to the validation of analytical methods, methods of operational quality control, approaches to estimatiing the uncertainty of measurements.

The discipline consists of two modules. Evaluation is based on a 100-point system. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student - 100, the minimum - 60. Semester grade is set for the following types of work: the performance of previous independent work, reports and essays.
