Learning outcomes
P2. Deeply understand the basic facts, concepts, principles and theories related to the subject area mastered during the master's program, use them to solve complex problems and problems, as well as conduct research in the relevant field of chemistry.
P9. Collect, evaluate, and analyze the data wanted to solve complex chemistry problems using appropriate data methods and tools.
P14. Interpret experimentally obtained data and correlate them with relevant theories in chemistry.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know organic chemistry at the bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
2. Have an idea of the basic principles of medical chemistry at the master's degree in Chemistry.
Course content
Drugs that act on the central and peripheral nervous systems. Molecular mechanism of action of drugs, their level of toxicity, side effects. General synthetic approaches, possible dosage forms.
