Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the basics of inorganic chemistry, the main directions of inorganic synthesis and specific conditions for obtaining various inorganic compounds. Orientate yourself in the main problems of inorganic synthesis and synthesis of specific inorganic compounds. As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should have a broad vision of the problems of modern inorganic chemistry that take place in various directions of the development of chemical science.
The student must be able to correctly apply modern chemical nomenclature, be well versed in the features of modern inorganic synthesis of various compounds in various environments, and especially in high-temperature inorganic synthesis.
To have elementary skills of various methods of synthesis of complex inorganic compounds. Understand the methods of their synthesis, master and correctly navigate modern scientific literature on the synthesis of complex inorganic compounds and materials.
Course content
The educational discipline includes the formation of modern ideas about the problems of synthesis of specific inorganic compounds, areas of their application. and properties. Considers a number of issues of specific synthesis of inorganic compounds in melts, solid-phase synthesis, methods of growth of compounds in single-crystal form, peculiarities of obtaining doped compounds with the aim of changing their properties.
