Learning outcomes
P1. Know and understand scientific concepts and modern theories of chemistry, as well as the fundamentals of related sciences.
P2. Deeply understand the basic facts, concepts, principles and theories related to the subject area mastered during the master's program, use them to solve complex problems and problems, as well as conduct research in the relevant field of chemistry.
P3. Apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to solve new qualitative and quantitative problems of chemistry.
P6. Know the methodology and organization of scientific research.
P10. Plan, organize and conduct experimental research in chemistry using modern equipment, competently process their results and draw sound conclusions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic concepts of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, chemistry and physical chemistry of macromolecular compounds. 2. Have basic knowledge of general chemistry. 3. Know the basic concepts of physical methods of research and identification of the structure of compounds.
Course content
The discipline provides comprehensive knowledge of the theoretical foundations of nanochemistry and nanotechnology, methods of obtaining various classes of nanomaterials, nanocomposites, features of their practical use in modern industries.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester control includes homework and tests and defense.The evaluation is based on 100-points system. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during semester assessment is 60 points / 36 points. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of written exam. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during written exam is 40 points / 24 points.
