LO4. To make a psychological prognosis for the development of personality, groups, organizations. LO5. To develop programs of psychological interventions (training, psychotherapy, counseling, etc.), implement them in individual and group work, evaluate their quality.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the theoretical foundations of general and developmental psychology, psychological patterns and tasks of personality development at different stages of ontogenesis; trends of modern psychotherapy.
2. Be able to select, correctly apply, analyze and interpret tests and questionnaries, be able to use basic evidence-based techniques of counseling and psychotherapy
3. To have basic skills of conducting a consultative interview, to have basic skills of organizing and conducting training activities
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills and technologies for working with the problems of modern parenting.
The subject of the course touches on the actual problems of the theory and practice of working with clients who need psychological help in the field of parenting support. The discipline consists of two parts. In the first part, theories, directions and approaches to the organization of work with parents who have applied for psychological counseling are considered. The second part is aimed at mastering the skills and abilities of applying scientifically verified methods, techniques and technologies of individual and group work with parents. Particular attention is paid to the issues of psychological assistance to parents at various stages of child development. Students study typical requests that parents turn to for consultation, learn to plan their work using case examples from practice.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course covers topics:
1. Actual problems of psychological support of parenthood.
2. Child-parent relations: characteristic and diagnosis
3. Child-parent counseling in the practice of a psychologist's work: technologies and techniques
4. Psychological support of parenthood at the stage of preparation for the birth of a child and in the postpartum period
5. Psychological support of parenthood at various stages of child development.
6. Psychological support of parents who have a child with developmental disabilities
7. Psychological support of foster parents
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods: recitations, preparation of an abstract with an analytical report, creative independent work (workshop for parents and a popular publication on the topic of the workshop), final test.
Form of final control - credit.
Organization of evaluation: Evaluation is carried out during the semester for all types of work. The maximum number of points for work during a semester is 100.
The credit is granted based on the results of the student's work during the semester.
Students who scored totally less than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical minimum of 36 points shall pass the test. The test is estimated at a maximum of 40 points and provides an oral survey based on the course materials.
Students who scored during the semester lower points than the critical-calculated minimum - 36 points are not allowed to take the test.
Rating scale:
0-59 - not credited;
60-100 - credited.
