1. To know the main categories and concepts of psychological science, the history of psychological knowledge, methods of psychology, basic information about mental phenomena, processes, conditions and their functioning in normal and pathology. 2. To be able to carry out comparative analysis of psychological concepts, theories, diagnostic approaches to the definition and interpretation of personality features in normal and pathology and work with diagnostic tools. 3. To have basic skills in working with literature sources and basic competencies of psychodiagnostic assessment.

The purpose of the discipline -mastering knowledge of the subject, method, features of the historical development of clinical psychodiagnostics, its current range of research and place in the system of related disciplines; to reveal the stages of establishing individual psychological differences of personality in the clinic within the basic diagnostic approaches. The course is devoted to understanding and mastering the basic principles and features of psychodiagnostic interaction in the clinic. It reveals the main psychodiagnostic criteria for distinguishing between norm and pathology in determining the individual psychological characteristics, substantiates the feasibility of using diagnostic methods and techniques depending on the current state of the patient. The discipline is aimed at forming practical competencies of psychological assessment in the clinic, with an emphasis on new trends that have emerged at the modern stage of their development.

Lectures, seminars and practical classes.

Assessment during the studying period: evaluation is carried out during the semester of all types of work. Additions and active participation in lectures are evaluated; the completed research project is presented at the seminar. The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 60. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of a test. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points on a 100-point scale. Form of conducting - written. Types of tasks - open questions, creative tasks; the answer to open question 1 - 33%; answer to open-ended question 2 - in 33%, creative task - in 34% of the total score. The minimum threshold level of the examination mark at which the examination is considered passed may not be less than 24 points. Conditions for admission to the test. A student is not allowed to take the exam if he / she scored less than 36 points during the semester.
