LO1. To search, process and analyze professionally important knowledge from various sources using modern information and communication technologies. LO 2. Ability to organize and conduct psychological research using valid and reliable methods. LO 7. It is accessible and reasoned to present the results of research in written and ordinary forms, to participate in professional discussions. LO 8. Assess the level of complexity of the tasks of the activity and the decision to apply for help or training. LO 10. Summarize the results of their own research in scientific reports of various forms (abstracts, articles, reports, presentations).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of philosophy in general and philosophical problems of natural science in particular; basics of psychodiagnostic examination and data analysis in psychology; the foundations of national and foreign legislation in the sphere of regulating relations that arise in the process of functioning of various branches of the national economy, production and copyright sphere. 2. The ability to analyze the causes and consequences of the influence of social, economic, informational, and cultural conditions on the personality, the peculiarities of its formation and socialization. 3. Possess elementary skills to define, analyze and explain mental phenomena, identify psychological problems, and propose solutions.
Course content
The discipline is mandatory and is aimed at studying the methodological foundations of scientific knowledge, the general organization of psychological research and the foundations of intellectual property. Forms the professional thinking of a researcher who studies ideas about the methodology of scientific approaches in modern discussions, which helps to reveal scientific paradigms in psychology, the financial basis of commercialization of the results of intellectual activity, to protect intellectual property rights. The course consists of 3 substantive parts: 1) methodology of scientific research; 2) organization of psychological research; 3) rights and obligations of participants in legal relations arising from the creation, use of objects of intellectual property rights or disposal of rights to such objects.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates): 24/14 points 2. Сreative tasks (preparation of a thematic review of scientific literature, writing an abstract of a scientific article, printing a scientific article): 24/14 points 4. Creative independent work: 32/20 points The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100. The final assessment is conducted in the form of credit. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work during the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is equal to 100) and does not include additional evaluation measures for successful students. Students who, during the semester, scored a total fewer than 60 points, but more than the critical calculation minimum - 40 points, take the final assessment. Assessment is carried out in the form of a creative individual task, which is estimated at 40 points.
