Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: the subject and tasks of general psychology; features of the psychological impact of various environmental factors on a person; features of human influence on the environment; To be able to: operate with the concepts of psychological science and analyze research data; To possess: basic skills of formation and development of environmental awareness and environmental culture.
Course content
Objective of the discipline: theoretical and practical training of future specialists in the organization of environmental activities at all levels of environmental reflection (microenvironment, meso-environment, macro-environment, mega-environment) and the formation of competence in the development of environmental awareness, environmental activities and environmental culture. The discipline is aimed at studying the relationship between humans and the environment (natural, artificial, social, cultural), which is organically incorporated into life and serves as an important factor in the regulation of behavior and social interaction. Environmental psychology studies a wide range of social and humanitarian problems of human-environment relations and focuses on aspects of human psychology that are subject to certain environmental factors - architectural, industrial (ergonomics), recreational, natural, etc.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answers (colloquium, seminar presentations): 30 / 18 points Individual work (writing essays, creating presentations): 30 / 18 points Practical tasks: 20 / 12 points. Intermediate control (Express survey, testing, Module test, final test): 20 / 12 points. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a credit. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work during the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100). Students who have scored a total of less than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical-calculated minimum of 40 points, pass the test. The test is conducted in the form of an oral survey on the course topic and a creative individual assignment, which are worth 20 points. The recommended minimum for admission to the test is 40 points.
