Learning outcomes
LO1. To analyze and interpret mental phenomena, identify psychological problems and suggest ways to resolve them. LO2. To understand patterns and tendencies of the development and functioning of mental phenomena in the professional tasks’ context. LO5. To select and use: valid and reliable psychological research and assessment methods (tests, questionnaires, projective techniques etc.); techniques of psychological help. LO12. To compile and implement a program of psychoprophylactic, educational activities and psychological help activities in the form of lectures, talks, round tables, games, trainings, etc., in accordance with the requirements of the customer.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know 1. The main guiding documents of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff, the Command of the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Tax Service of Ukraine, etc. regarding the psychological support of their activities 2. History of development of psychological services in Ukraine. 3. Psychological features of modern hostilities Be able 1. Conduct psychological training classes with different categories of servicemen and identify topics that are more relevant today. 2. Carry out psychological analysis of individual behavior. 3. Possess methods and organization of psychological rehabilitation in law enforcement agencies and in the State as a whole . 4. To diagnose negative mental states of servicemen Have basic skills in providing psychological assistance.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline - is to provide students with reliable and complete information about the psychological characteristics of servicemen and military teams in various law enforcement agentcies of Ukraine, mastering the features of psychological support of these structures. The ultimate goal of psychological support measures is to form, maintain and restore the proper moral and psychological condition of personnel, as a leading factor in the effective implementation of combat and other tasks. It is the willingness and ability to conduct activities on psychological support is the main task of students to master this discipline.
