Learning outcomes
LO1. To analyze and interpret mental phenomena, identify psychological problems and suggest ways to resolve them. LO2. To understand patterns and tendencies of the development and functioning of mental phenomena in the professional tasks’ context. LO3. To search information from different sources for solving professional tasks including using information and communication technologies. LO4. To elaborate one's professional position, to make independent conclusions based on the results of own research and analysis of publications. LO10. To formulate logically own position in comprehensive way, discuss, defend, modify statements according to cultural characteristics of the partner. LO13. To interact, communicate, to be clear, tolerant to people with different cultural, age or gender-specific characteristics.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the main categories of ethnic psychology; historical preconditions of formation and prospects of development of modern ethnic psychology; main theoretical directions in modern ethnocultural psychology; basic methods and conceptual approaches of ethnopsychological research.
2. To be able to analyze complex ethnopsychological phenomena and processes; identify the causes and ways to resolve interethnic conflicts; analyze people's behavior, determined by their nationality or ethnicity.
3. To have the skills to analyze the behavior of people who are determined by nationality and / or ethnicity.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline: the formation of knowledge about the theories and conceptual approaches of modern ethnocultural psychology, the specifics of modern research in this area, the formation of relevant professional skills and abilities that can be used in further research work of students.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, additions).
2. Practical tasks.
3. Creative afterclasses work.
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system.
The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 60, the minimum - 36.
Final assessment - exam.
The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points on a 100-point scale. Form of conducting - written.
Final assessment in the form of an exam: the maximum number of points on the exam - 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the semester - 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the exam).
90-100 - excellent, 0-59 – unsatisfactory
