Learning outcomes
LO 1. Solve complex tasks and problems that require updating and integrating knowledge in conditions of incomplete/insufficient information and conflicting requirements. LO 6. Independently and autonomously find information necessary for professional growth, master it, assimilate and produce new knowledge, develop professional skills and qualities. LO 16. Develop social projects at a highly professional level. LO 17. Independently build and maintain purposeful, professional relationships with a wide range of people, representatives of various communities and organizations, argue, persuade, conduct constructive negotiations, effective conversations, discussions, and tolerate alternative opinions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know:
- subject, goal, task, technology of social pedagogy;
- peculiarities of socio-pedagogical work in the community.
Be able:
- work in a group, rationally use time, clearly distribute tasks in order to obtain the maximum result;
- to navigate in the search systems of global computer networks, choosing the terms for the formulation of the request and the search strategy;
- choose information resources according to developed or specified criteria;
- critically analyze the received information, highlight the most essential in it;
- to correlate and systematize the acquired knowledge and practical experience in the studied discipline.
Have elementary skills:
- interaction with various client groups of the social pedagogue;
- regulators of activity and behavior in a group of young professionals.
Course content
Formation of students' knowledge and skills in the theory and technology of community development design in crisis conditions; mastering the basics of social design; formation of practical skills in the use of a project approach to solving social problems in conditions of crises of various types. The content is revealed in three modules. The first-"Fundamentals and practical significance of design" examines the general idea of design, the history of the emergence of design knowledge; design as a means of transforming the surrounding reality. In the second-"Theoretical and methodological foundations of social design" social design is investigated as a special type of activity; technology of social project development, support and implementation; characteristics of the social project management process. In the third-"Designing as a tool of activity of a social work specialist" special features of the project activity of a social work specialist in crisis conditions are cinsidered.

Lectures, seminar classes, discussion and defense of creative tasks, group work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Creative and reproductive tasks for independent work - 20 points. Preparation of reports and abstracts - 20 points. Modular test - 20 points. Exam - 40 points.
• 1-34 corresponds to the grade "unsatisfactory" with the obligatory re-study of the discipline;
• 35-59 corresponds to the assessment of "unsatisfactory" with the possibility of re-assembly;
• 60-64 corresponds to the assessment "satisfactory" ("sufficient");
• 65-74 corresponds to the assessment "satisfactory";
• 75 - 84 corresponds to the assessment of "good";
• 85 - 90 corresponds to the assessment "good";
• 91 - 100 corresponds to the rating "excellent"
- To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the exam can not be less than 24 points.
- A student is not allowed to take the final control if he scored less than 20 points during the semester.
