Learning outcomes
LO2. To evaluate critically the results of scientific research and various sources of knowledge about social work practices, formulate conclusions and recommendations for their implementation. LО8. To make decisions autonomously in difficult and unpredictable situations. LO9. To perform reflective practices in the context of the values of social work, responsibility, including to prevent burnout. LO17. To build independently and maintain purposeful, professional relationships with a wide range of people, representatives of various communities and organizations, argue, persuade, conduct constructive negotiations, productive conversations, discussions, be tolerant of alternative opinions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) To know: knowledge of modern models of organization of social pedagogical work that have developed in Ukraine and abroad, the basics of professional socio-pedagogical activities to establish humane, morally healthy relations in the field of social work.
2) To be able to: ability to collect, analyze, organize information about social problems in the field of social work, use effective means of communication in social interaction with objects (clients) of social work, skills necessary for socio-pedagogical work with informal groups
3) To have: the ability to critically evaluate the results of research on social work practices, to formulate conclusions and recommendations for their implementation; build and maintain purposeful, professional relationships with a wide range of people, representatives of various communities and organizations, conduct constructive negotiations, productive conversations, discussions, tolerant of alternative opinions.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to study and analyze the experience of formation of informal groups in Ukraine and the world, forms and methods of working with them. Mastering this course will allow future social educators to gain knowledge, skills and abilities to develop readiness for professional socio-pedagogical activities
Discipline "Socio-pedagogical work with informal groups" reveals the basic concepts of "informal association", "subculture", psychological and social factors of informalism, scientific approaches to the classification of informal groups and associations. The main aspects of modern informal groups and the mechanisms of reorientation of the informal group and the role of the social educator in this process.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment:
1. Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, additions): 28/17 points
2. Analytical report: 28/17 points
3. Creative independent work: 24/14 points
4. Final control work: 20/12 points.
Final assessment: credit.
The test is based on the results of the student's work during the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100) and does not provide additional assessment activities for successful students.
Students who scored less than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical minimum of 40 points, are credited. The test is conducted in the form of an oral survey on the subject of the course and the performance of a creative individual task, which is estimated at 20 points.
