Learning outcomes
Know the theoretical and practical principles of civil litigation. Know the concept, content and significance of the procedural form of protection of civil rights within the effective protection of the rights, freedoms and interests of individuals. Have the conceptual apparatus of civil procedural law. Be able to work out regulations that regulate relations in the field of civil litigation. Analyze and interpret the current legislation on the protection of civil rights and legitimate interests. Have the methodological basis for effective consideration and resolution of court cases. Know the content and characteristics of the types of proceedings in civil litigation. Be able to draw up procedural documents within different types of proceedings. Have databases and modern information technology. Know the subject of the industry, basic concepts, basic categories and concepts of civil procedural law.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Achieving program learning outcomes in the following disciplines: "Theory of State and Law", "Civil Law of Ukraine", "Constitutional Law of Ukraine", "Judiciary in Ukraine".
Course content
The study of the discipline involves acquaintance with: the theoretical foundations of civil procedure; tasks and basic principles of civil litigation; composition of the court, participants in the trial; the concept of evidence and proof; Procedural deadlines, subpoenas and notices; legal costs and coercive measures; non-litigation and claim proceedings; amicable agreement; consideration of the case on the merits; consideration of cases by way of simplified proceedings; procedural issues related to the execution of court decisions; judicial control over the execution of court decisions; proceedings in cases of appeal against decisions of arbitration courts, international commercial arbitrations; recognition and execution of decisions of foreign courts, international commercial arbitrations in Ukraine, granting permission for enforcement of decisions of arbitration courts; proceedings in cases involving foreign persons.

Lectures, seminars, practical classes, self-study work, individual tasks.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of current control can be: express survey, colloquium, solving practical problems, written tasks, report, scientific work, testing (from the set of judgments to choose the right), modular tests, intermediate control (final test). At the current control during practical classes are subject to assessment: the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student in response, activity in discussing issues of practical training, regular work in the classroom, the results of homework.
