Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student must know: concepts, methods and tools of socio-pedagogical work, the procedure for making and ensuring the implementation of socio-pedagogical decisions, the conditions of communication with representatives of various professional groups and in the international context. The student must be able to: apply concepts, methods and tools of socio-pedagogical work, justify and manage socio-pedagogical projects, generate socio-pedagogical ideas. The student must have basic skills: arguing their own point of view in the discussion based on ethical considerations, socially responsible, interacting with people and influencing their behavior, planning self-development, learning and implementing effective self-management, analyzing and structuring problems, making socio-pedagogical decisions and providing conditions of their implementation, to adapt to the activities in the new situation, conducting research activities.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline - acquainting students with the main content of the work of social institutions that provide social and pedagogical assistance to the population; deepening and consolidation of theoretical knowledge gained in the process of studying the professional disciplines of the bachelor's program; application of technologies of social and pedagogical work in the performance of individual tasks and the implementation of professional reflection on the results of work.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Tasks (learning objectives): - to study the experience of the institution - the base of industrial practice; functions, place and role of a social pedagogue in this institution; - to get acquainted with the content of the main job responsibilities of employees, regulatory and legal documentation; - to consolidate the ability to develop fundamental, periodic scientific sources and methodological materials on issues addressed by the student within the production practice; - to apply technologies of social and pedagogical work at performance of individual tasks; - to develop experience in registration and presentation of the results of production work in text form (abstracts, articles, reports) and their public defense (multimedia presentation); - to promote the formation of students' ethics of professional activity.
Assessment methods and criteria
Means of diagnosing academic success are socio-pedagogical observation, analysis of activities, performance of official tasks, involvement in the process of production activities based on practice, verification and evaluation of reporting documents, analysis of the results of independent work of students. Evaluation of the results of practical training is carried out on a 100-point scale. Correspondence scale: 90 - 100 points – «excellent». 89 - 75 points – «good». 74 - 60 points – «satisfactory». 59 - 0 points – «unsatisfactory» with the possibility of re-assembly. A student who has not completed the internship program may be granted the right to repeat the internship without leaving school. The results of the practice are discussed at the meeting of the department, and the general results of the practice are summed up at the meeting of the Academic Council of the faculty.
