Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basics of general psychology, basic concepts of personality development and socialization 2. To know the main directions and functions of the social pedagogue and psychologist 3. It is desirable to have practical experience of inclusion in psychological and pedagogical practices of various types (project, training, game, etc.).
Course content
The goal of the discipline is the formation of the professional position of a social pedagogue and the development of psychological competencies capable of ensuring the effective performance of professional tasks in social and pedagogical activities aimed at the positive socialization of the individual. The discipline is designed to expand the subject field of professional activity of a social pedagogue through the formation of psychological skills and competencies, such as: observation, use of influence and persuasion skills, means of "nonviolent communication", empathic listening, "joining", equipping, etc. Special emphasis is placed on the skillful identification of professional tasks in socio-pedagogical practice, demarcation of functions and areas of activity of a social pedagogue, selection of means and methods of work at the individual, group and mass levels. During the semester, the student must complete 4 practical works that demonstrate the level of mastery of psychological skills and abilities.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Practical classes, independent work. Presentations, discussions, case method, film analysis, practical works.
Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation methods: oral answers, creative and practical tasks, preparation of presentations, final control work. The form of final control is test. Evaluation organization: Evaluation is carried out during the semester of all types of work and mandatory performance of 4 practical works. The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 60 points. The critical calculation minimum is 36 points. Students who received a total of less than 36 points during the semester are not allowed to take the test. The credit is estimated at a maximum of 40 points. The total score for the discipline is 100 points.
