Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student should know: peculiarities of the process of organization of consulting work, rules of the code of ethics; to be able to: determine the needs of clients, types of consultations, structure, techniques, tools for conducting socio-pedagogical consultations. possess: professional qualities and moral values during consulting work.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to acquaint students with the methods, forms and types of counseling work, to form practical skills, directions of interaction between the specialist and the recipient of consultations, which are aimed at overcoming difficulties associated with the client's social functioning.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, seminar class, student's independent work task,
surveys, preparation of presentations, analytical materials, case problem solving reports.
Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum number of points for the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester ones is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the exam). Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to take the exam. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points.
Rating correspondence scale:
Excellent 90-100 points.
Good 75-89 points.
Satisfactory 60-74 points.
Fail 0-59 points.
