Learning outcomes
LO1. To analyze and interpret mental phenomena, identify psychological problems and suggest ways to resolve them. LO2. To understand patterns and tendencies of the development and functioning of mental phenomena in the professional tasks’ context. LO3. To search information from different sources for solving professional tasks including using information and communication technologies. LO4. To elaborate one's professional position, to make independent conclusions based on the results of own research and analysis of publications.

1. To know the theoretical foundations of general, age-related, social psychology, and work psychology. 2. To have the ability to evaluate and analyze the causes and consequences of the influence of working conditions, namely, the physical and social environment on the individual. 3. To possess the basics of working with psychodiagnostic and psychocorrective methods
Course content
The educational discipline "Psychology of work in extreme conditions" is selective. The course consists of two modules. The first is dedicated to the general coverage of the subject; analysis of current problems of psychological support of professional activity in extreme conditions (adaptation, assessment and correction of functional states of the individual in extreme conditions; rules and methods of psychological support of professional activity). The second is the rules and methods of normalization of activity, ways and means of preserving, maintaining and restoring the specialist's working capacity in extreme and post-extreme periods.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, additions): 24/14 points 2. Analytical report: 24/14 points 3. Creative work: 32/20 points 4. Final test: 20/12 points The final assessment is conducted in the form of credit. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work during the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is equal to 100) and does not include additional assessment measures for successful students. Students who, during the semester, scored fewer than 60 points, but more than the critical calculation minimum - 40 points, pass the credit. Assessment is carried out in the form of an oral survey on the subject of the course and the performance of a creative individual task, which are estimated at 20 points. Students who, during the semester, scored fewer points than the critical calculation minimum of 40 points are not allowed to pass the test.
