Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to acquaint students with the basic principles of theoretical ecology, principles of functioning of ecological systems, features of the relationship between the biosphere and the technosphere; with global and regional environmental problems, with problems of resource, environmental and economic orientation, as well as to provide students with knowledge of the general patterns of occurrence and development of hazards, emergencies, primarily of a man-made nature, their properties, possible impact on life and health.

Assessment methods and criteria
Final control work: -100/60 points
The final assessment is conducted in the form of a test.
The final control work takes place in the form of test tasks. A student receives a credit ("passed") only if he or she successfully completes the final test (at least 60 points for the test, i.e. 60% of correct answers).
The maximum number of points that a student can receive is 100 points on a 100-point scale.
The form of the test is written. Type of tasks - test questions. The minimum threshold grade level at which the test is considered passed cannot be less than 60 points.
Conditions for admission to the test - The student receives a credit ("passed") only if he or she successfully completes the final test (receiving: at least 60 points, i.e. 60% of correct answers).
