Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the basic norms of the modern Ukrainian language at all levels of its organization. To be able to use the basic communicative resource of the Ukrainian language for interpersonal interaction; To possess basic skills of textual representation in business and scientific discourses.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to provide knowledge of the basics of modern language policy in Ukraine, to deepen the understanding of the social functions of the Ukrainian language as the state language and the communicative resource of the Ukrainian language as a tool for career success of a psychologist, to develop skills and abilities to create the most commonly used documents in the business practice of a psychologist, to acquaint students with the language specifics of business communication in its oral and written forms, to learn the basic rules of professional communication etiquette.

Assessment methods and criteria
The final assessment is conducted in the form of a credit. The grade is based on the results of the student's work during the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100) and does not provide additional assessment measures for successful students. Students who score less than 60 points in total during the semester, but more than the critical-calculated minimum of 40 points, pass the test. The test is conducted in the form of an oral survey on the course topic and a creative individual assignment, which are worth 20 points. Students who have scored less than the critical-calculated minimum of 40 points during the semester are not allowed to take the credit.
