Course content
These studies are directly related to particle spectroscopy, properties of quarks and interquark forces, and the physics of heavy charged leptons. Theoretical bases of flanour physics are considered, in particular the problem of violation of CP-parity, effective theory of heavy quarks, prediction of phenomena beyond the Standard Model. The combination of heavy and light quarks in the formation of particles is considered. The achievements and contribution to the physics of flavours of the main research centers Fermilab (proton-antiproton collider Tevatron), DESY (electron-proton collider HERA) and CERN (electron-positron collider LEP and hadron collider LHC) are highlighted. students will understand modern areas of research processes with the birth of c and b quarks and tau leptons on colliders, including experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN and the Belle II experiment at the KEK Science Center (Japan), and other accelerator experiments.
