- Successful learning of basic physics courses: "Mechanics", "Molecular physics", "Electricity", "Optics", "Mathematical physics", special course "Fundamentals of thermodynamics of reactor plants".
- To be able to solve tasks of the main physics courses.
- To know the composition, purpose and characteristics of the main systems of NPS.
- To have elementary skills of work on the computer to search information on the Internet.
Course content
The course " Techniques for monitoring the state of nuclear reactors" enhances professional training of nuclear physics students who study in the educational program "Nuclear Power Engineering", since the Ukrainian nuclear power plants, as well as the organizations, The main goal of the project is to develop the capacity of the nuclear power plants in Ukraine and the organizations that provide scientific and technical support to the nuclear power plants, there is a demand for specialists in the field of equipment assessment, assessment and renewal of its resource, who are able to perform reliability calculations, analyze their results, conduct comprehensive expert reviews of large projects.
