Learning outcomes
The course allows to strengthen the professional training of students of the Department of Nuclear Physics who study under the educational program "Nuclear Energy", since at nuclear power plants of Ukraine, and in organizations that carry ou in organizations that provide scientific and technical support to nuclear power plants, there is a demand for specialists in the field of assessment of the condition of equipment, determination and continuation of its resource, capable of performing calculations, analyze their results, conduct comprehensive examinations of large projects.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- Successful mastering the following courses in Physics: «Mechanics», «Molecular Physics», «Fundamentals of reactor physics» та «Strength of NPP equipment». - To be able to solving tasks from general courses in Physics. - To know warehouse, purposes of functioning and characteristics of main systems of nuclear power installations. - To possess elementary computer-working skills to search for information in Internet.
Course content
This course allows to enhance professional training of students of Department of Nuclear Physics, which study the educational program “Nuclear power”. Being graduated from Department of Nuclear Physics, students are demanded at Ukraine NPPs, Technical support organizations of nuclear industry etc. There are also requirements for such educated people in areas of NPP equipment state assessment, evaluation and extension of NPP equipment life-time and also capable of calculations performance with subsequent analyzing and to conduct complex expertize of modern nuclear projects
