Course content
Study of the physical principles of operation, main characteristics and areas of application of modern and promising memory devices of various types (magnetic, magnetoresistive, optical, magneto-optical, holographic, semiconductor, etc.). In the lecture course, considerable attention is paid to holography as a method of recording and reading information, the application of holography, in particular, holographic microscopy, differential interferometry, as well as the problem of pattern recognition
Recommended or required reading and other learning resources/tools

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Total volume – 90 hours, including: Lectures – 30 hours. Independent work - 60 hours.
Assessment methods and criteria
semester assessment - grades for writing two modular test papers
(maximum 30 points for each test);
final assessment – oral assessment (maximum 40 points).
The condition for admission to credit: during the semester, the student must score no less
36 points for writing two modular test papers.
The final grade for the semester consists of the sum of points received by the student for two modular test papers and an oral assessment. The maximum you can get is 100
points For students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 60 points, it is necessary to retake the attestation in this discipline
write two modular test papers and score at least 40 points for them, and take an oral test again and receive at least 20 points for it.
