Learning outcomes
obtaining deep and systematic knowledge from the course of theoretical astrophysics based on the general laws of modern physics and methods of mathematical physics, mastering the methods and principles of theoretical solution of astrophysical problems, interpreting the results of astronomical observations, and planning and performing numerical experiments.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Thorough knowledge of the basics of modern physics and methods of mathematical physics.
Course content
study of the theory of radiation transport, processes of interaction between matter and radiation, theory of stellar photospheres and atmospheres, theory of radiation transport in planetary atmospheres, theory of gas and dust nebulae, radiation transport in dynamical shells, and theory of stellar wind.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: 1. Tests: 2, each – 10 points 2. Lecture work – 3. Short independent tasks – 4. Final assessment (in the form of an exam/complex exam, differentiated assessment): Exam – 80 points - conditions for admission to the final exam: at least 10 points during the semester Tests are carried out in the middle (first module) and at the end (second module) of the semester. Lecture work and short independent tasks are assessed during the semester with summarization of the results for the first and second modules
