Learning outcomes
students' mastery of methods for studying the Sun and solar activity. Understanding solar processes that can affect the Earth in general and the development of humanity in particular. Developing the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, primarily electronic resources, and the ability of students to abstractly think, analyze and synthesize material from various physical, mathematical and computer disciplines
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basic laws of mechanics, molecular physics, electricity, optics, atomic physics and quantum mechanics, the basics of mathematical physics. Have basic knowledge from courses in general and practical astrophysics. Be able to apply previous knowledge from courses in higher mathematics and physics. Have the basics of differential and integral calculus.
Course content
The course program is aimed at students who are already familiar with the basics of higher mathematics and sections of experimental physics, as well as basic astronomical courses "General Astronomy", "Practical Astrophysics", "General Astrophysics". The learning outcomes consist in obtaining knowledge about the current state of the study of the physics of the Sun, processes in its interior and atmosphere, mechanisms of the influence of solar activity on the Earth and man-made human activity.
