Learning outcomes
PLO 5. Apply analytical and methodical tools for substantiating proposals and making managerial decisions by various economic agents (individuals, households, enterprises and government authorities). PLO 8. Apply appropriate economic and mathematical methods and models for solving economic problems in the field of economics and economic policy. PLO 10. Analyze the functioning and development of economic entities, to identify functional areas, to calculate the relevant indicators that characterize the performance of their activities. PLO 12. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems in the field of economics and economic policy and interpret the obtained results in a meaningful way. PLO 19. Use information and communication technologies to solve socio-economic problems, prepare and present analytical reports .
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of courses: "Economics and Economic Policy", "Macroeconomics", "Microeconomics", "Enterprise Economics". Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of: state regulation of the economy; organization of business activities; principles of organization of market relations and economic activity; fundamentals of financial system and money market; principles and mechanisms for implementing key business processes at the enterprise level and separate sectors of the economy.
Course content
Сourse is devoted to the study of the nature, main types and functions of information technology under the post-industrial transformation of the economic environment and the formation of information-knowledge economy. The course analyzes the tasks, structure and features of the corporate information system on the example of SAP ERP. The course provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the theoretical foundations of information systems and applied aspects of the introduction of information technology by businesses, financial institutions and public authorities in the development and implementation of economic and financial policy, management of financial transactions, etc.
