Learning outcomes
PLO 9. Understand the main features of the modern world and national economy, institutional structure, directions of social, economic and foreign economic policy of the state.
PLO 10. To conduct an analysis of the functioning and development of business entities, to determine functional areas, to calculate the relevant indicators that characterize the effectiveness of their activities.
PLO 12. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and meaningfully interpret the obtained results
PLO 26. Apply information about the latest phenomena and processes occurring in the international economic system, and form strategies for the activities of its subjects in the global environment.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: the essence and mechanisms of processes in the international economic system, the peculiarities of the implementation of classical and modern theories of the development of human civilization, trends and factors in their formation of the international economic system and the world economy.
2. To be able to: carry out an independent analysis of the processes of world economic development, use in practice knowledge about the development strategies of countries and international organizations during the planning of the firm's foreign trade activities; work with international databases, calculate economic indicators, process statistical data, analyze statistical information
Course content
The program of the academic discipline consists of the following content modules:
1. Content module 1. "Theoretical foundations of the analysis of international strategies of economic development, which examines the patterns of global economic development, advantages and disadvantages of the global economic system, conceptual foundations of economic development and responses to external shocks.
2. Content module 2. "Practical aspects of international economic development strategies", which examines general approaches to the formation of development strategies of countries and firms, effects of integration processes and their influence on strategic planning, conceptual approaches of international organizations to promote the development of countries and strategic orientations of Ukraine in the context of development.
4. Tasks (educational goals): acquiring knowledge about the essence, mechanisms, and factors that determine the economic development of countries in the conditions of the ever-increasing influence of external factors (including shocks); formation of skills for qualitative and quantitative analysis of processes that determine the development of strategies for the development of countries; mastering the methodology of researching problems of global and regional economic development; to form a new outlook based on the concept of the development of a post-industrial society.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Individual analytical task, task for independent work, presentation, exam
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: assessment is carried out throughout the semester for all types of work, including assignments for independent work (essays), surveys, tests, individual analytical assignments and presentations and exams.
1. Module 1: survey, control work, independent tasks (essay) (Min. - 24 points, Max. - 40 points).
2. Execution and presentation of an individual analytical task (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 20 points).
An individual analytical task is a study of the state of economic development in the selected country, its place in the world economic system, the developed strategy of the country's development for the next 20 years, and the identification of its compliance with world civilizational, globalization and economic trends. The work is submitted before the beginning of the session. The defense-presentation of research results is carried out in the penultimate week of training. For works not submitted by the specified deadline, 1 point is deducted for each day of delay.
