Learning outcomes
PLO 3. Communicate freely on professional and scientific issues in the state and a foreign language orally and in writing. PLO4. Develop socio-economic projects and a system of comprehensive actions for their implementation, taking into account their goals, expected socio-economic outcomes, risks, legal, resource and other regulations. PLO 8. Choose effective methods for managing economic activity, justify the proposed solutions based on relevant data, scientific and applied research PLO 12. Justify management decisions for effective business development taking into account goals, resources, constraints, and risks. PLO15. Organize the development and implementation of socio-economic projects taking into account informational, methodological, material, financial and human resources.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
A prerequisite to doing this course is an English language competence at B2-C1 level.
Course content
The curriculum consists of two content modules: module 1 "Actual problems of international investment activities" is devoted to current problems of the investment sector, an overview of the fundamental principles of international investment activities, the main and alternative types of investment instruments. Module 2 "Portfolio Investment Management" examines the features of investment instruments, the basics of investment management and analysis of investment markets, as well as introduces the features of documentation and oral forms of communication in the field of investment activities.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Accomplishment of semester projects, their public presentation and defense – 20 points / 12 points 2. Development of a final project, its public presentation and defense: – 20 points / 12 points 3. Oral questioning: (RS1; 2.1; 3.2) – 20 points / 12 points - final assessment Final assessment is carried out in the form of final project that is evaluated with a maximum of 20 points, its defense takes place in one of the final practical classes in the discipline. The final grade is set based on the results of work during the semester as the sum of points obtained during academic semester, including points obtained for independent work, semester projects and final project.
