P06. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the geographical envelope and its components. P07. Apply models, methods and data of natural and social sciences, information technologies, etc. when studying the formation and development of objects and processes of the geographical envelope. P10. Analyze the composition and structure of natural and socio-geographic objects and systems (according to specialization) at different spatio-temporal levels. P14. Demonstrate the ability to conduct independent research of natural and socio-geographical objects, systems and processes in the geographic envelope under field and laboratory conditions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

1. Successful mastering of the discipline "Meteorology" and "Meteorological research"; 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of atmospheric processes and phenomena.

Course content

The study discipline "Climate of Ukraine" is one of the components of the comprehensive training of bachelors from the "Natural Geography" educational program. In the process of studying the discipline, the main climate-forming factors and processes and the main features of the climate regime are considered, in particular, the physical conditions of formation, repeatability and the main features of the spatio-temporal distribution of certain meteorological values and phenomena on the territory of Ukraine.
